Wall of Shame

Below you will see the loathsome work of man.
The work of someone who is psychotic and deranged.
Anyone of you who condons this behavior or is tolerant of it
is only a few steps behind the perpetrator.
For those of you tempted to e-mail me in order to justify this behavior save your time.
There is no justification and you will only identify yourself as a sicko.

Try not to mistake this as a one woman opinion when in fact it is part of a psychological profile.
That which make up the serial killer.

When this image came across my desk it was the smaller version with out the blow ups.
An explanation had to be made to me before I fully understood what had gone on here.
When the impact hit me I wept.
Not for this animal and her babies but for mankind and what we are becoming.

After the shock wore off I pondered what kind of person would do this?

The answer is rather simple....someone like the guy or gal next door.
People with the heart for this kind of cruelty look like Ted Bundy, the Son of Sam or any of the other serial killers out there........and yes research shows that serial killers start with the torture of animals.

Statistics show that serial killing is on the rise and has escalated at least 83% in the last 10 years.
And the USA houses the largest percentage of them in the world.
So where have we gone wrong here?

For those of you who still are not sure what you are seeing...let me point it out to you.

A coyote has been caught in a steel jaw leghold trap.
She has ripped her leg to shreds.
When discovered someone placed a stick in her mouth and wrapped it closed with a piece of wire.
Her pups are there at her side nursing.

I do not know the outcome of this and can only imagine.
The worse scenario is the person who took this shot is the perpetrator.
The best is some photographer set her free.

I am going to be perfectly blunt.
It is my fervent prayer that the person who did this suffers a life 10 times worse than this poor animal. There is a universal justice that none of us escape....and in this universal justice system
this is not acceptable.

Lets move on to the steel jaw leghold trap.
This is an indiscriminate device
It does not care if the creature that springs it is your precious pet.
A magnificent bald eagle (our country symbol).
Or some unsuspecting child romping in the woods

I listened to a representative from FWS telling a radio audience how harmless this contraption is.
Had I been there in person I would have asked him to volunteer his foot or hand for demonstration purpose

Are there any of you out there that would like to have your child accidently spring one of these devices?

It certainly gives us all something to think about.
