This photo was taken near the barbed wire fence looking toward the area where Buddy was shot. Behind this spot there is a fenced gate and the area is almost flat. As you move in the direction that Buddy traveled you are in a gully between the road shoulder and the barbed wire fence to the side of it. The telephone pole that the young woman hit was directly behind this shot perhaps 20 or 30 feet.

I did not take pictures of the skid marks from this accident. However they came around the curve and were straight into the power pole.

This photo was taken a little further back and a little higher up on the embankment closer to the road.

The next to photos are close ups of the area showing the very dry weeds and rocks that are both abundant in the area.
